OK, dancing fans, you MUST watch the below video.
I was just catching up on my Dancing with the Stars today and I came upon this amazing dance. This is Gilles Marini and his partner Cheryl Burke doing a paso doble in week 5 of the competition. I don’t often get to watch the show air real time, so I watch it on abc.com with their free episode player (LOVE it!). He is doing SO WELL. I have to tell you, I just had an incredible urge to cheer when they completed their dance. I actually started clapping… and I was watching by myself! That never happens, so obviously this must be pretty amazing. ha!
He’s so far ahead of all the other competitors on the show at this point because he’s completely immersed himself into this experience. He takes risks, has so much passion, and has such self-confidence he is able to let go and not be afraid to look dumb… what else do you expect from the guy who played the naked neighbor in the Sex and the City movie?? 
AND he is soooo humble about everything. I look forward to watching him dance and can certainly imagine why Cheryl Burke is able to feel such chemistry with him.
You know what? While we’re at it, you might as well watch his performance of the Argentine tango from the week prior too. He earns a well-deserving 30/30 for this dance. Ooooh he is soooo sexy.
I started watching this season of DWTS because someone mentioned that the Woz was on it (painful to watch, unfortunately). But damn! Gilles–I’ve never head of him before DWTS–is good! I watched that Argentine Tango performance multiple times.
Didn’t even know this guy existed. Totally loved watching him dance:) thanks for sharing!
